What is progressive Brazilian straightening using nanotechnology?

Nanotechnology Straightening is a hair fiber regeneration treatment that provides intracellular nutrition with the latest advances in nanotechnology. Through nanotechnology, which is the manipulation of matter at a nanometric scale, infinitely small spheres (nanoparticles) are obtained, facilitating the penetration of all nutrients; amino acids, essential oils and proteins, to the deepest part of the hair fiber.

What benefits does nanotechnology straightening with Biolamination or Nanogel offer?

Regenerate the hair fiber. Remove frizz from the hair. Moisturize and straighten naturally for a prolonged period of time. It is progressive because, after time, the hair will return to its original state in a natural way.

What is the difference between Biolamination and Nanogel?

We have at your disposal two deep hydration and natural smoothing products using nanotechnology, Biolamination and Nanogel, both with the same technology, formula, method of application and results.

The difference that exists between each one is:

Biolamination; Recommended for fine, dull, damaged, brittle hair, maximum hydration and shine results, contains coconut oil and babasu oil among others as moisturizers, based on white cream.

Nanogel; Recommended for very frizzy or afro hair, natural or chemically treated but healthy, contains avocado oil and aloe vera as moisturizers, based on gel.

Is a cuticle opening shampoo necessary?

No, it is not necessary. The new technology used in the production of Brazil Protein straightening products, which uses Nanotechnology, makes the penetration of the nutrients provided by the product easier, thanks to the nanoparticles obtained that can penetrate to the deepest part of the hair fiber. without having to open it, avoiding causing further damage and dryness to the hair.

How long does the effect last?

The average duration is 4 months, depending on the condition of the hair, the technique used when applying the treatment, maintenance at home and the frequency of washing. To prolong the straightening, it is recommended to wash your hair with the pH 5/sulfate-free Shampoo and apply conditioner and SOS mask once a week.

What type of hair can receive the treatment?

All hair types, regardless of their condition; dyed, chemically treated, permed, or straightened. In fact, the effect of the treatment is better and longer lasting on hair that has been treated with chemicals before, compared to virgin hair (not treated with chemicals).

How long does the process usually take?

The total treatment is approximately 3 hours. It all depends on the length and volume of the hair. The beauty salon professional must evaluate the condition of the hair to determine the exposure time of the product, as well as the number of passes and the temperature of the professional plate to use.

What is the care at home after straightening?

It is recommended to use a shampoo of proven quality, pH 5 and free of sulfates or salts to prevent the hair cuticle from opening, thus stopping the accelerated elimination of the nutrients provided by the product. Always use a conditioner after washing with shampoo pH 5/ without salts, and apply moisturizing masks maximum every 15 days depending on the type of hair. Never let the hair dry in the open air, always dry with a hairdryer, the heat activates the straightening. Apply nourishing oils to the ends of the hair.

Can I apply dyes the same day as the straightening treatment?

No, it is recommended to apply dyes or highlights 1 week after applying the straightening treatment. The treatment can lower 1 or 2 tones in dyed hair.

How does the beach or pool affect the treatment?

The treatment is not affected in summer. The treatment will last less time but nothing as extreme as losing your hair. As long as you give it proper maintenance, use sunscreen for your hair, eliminate chlorine or seawater by rinsing with water.

What is the difference between nanotechnology straightening and the old keratin or Japanese straightening?

Nanotechnology straightening can be applied to chemically treated hair, regenerating the hair fiber, providing the keratin lost through these chemical processes, providing shine and a totally natural, full-bodied straight hair, which you can style however you want and whenever you want.

Japanese straightening or keratins that contain formalin or glyoxylic acid as a cross-linking agent are not recommended with chemically treated hair, with dyes, highlights or perms, they have a very aggressive effect and the straightening is unnatural. They achieve an ironed effect, not at all natural and without providing any type of nutrients. These treatments are not eliminated naturally. The roots begin to grow curly and the rest of the hair remains straight, causing an unsightly effect.

What problems can straightening with formaldehyde cause to our health?

Straightening treatments with formaldehyde (formol) or its derivatives provide long-lasting initial straightening and shine. However, continued treatments can cause hair to become brittle. They can also cause skin and respiratory problems such as rashes, nosebleeds, coughing, and dizziness if proper precautions, such as gloves and respirators, are not taken. As a result, several countries have banned the use of formaldehyde-based products, making this an unsafe and largely unavailable option.

Can I use nanotechnology straightening after having applied a more aggressive straightening treatment, such as the Japanese one?

Yes, it is highly recommended to sweep or completely eliminate these treatments, which are generally based on formaldehyde or derivatives that are used to generate a straight effect, without really providing any benefit to your hair.
